6 Week Drawing the Portrait in Graphite and Charcoal at Grace in The Plains, Virginia
Wednesdays starting on April 23, 2025 until May 28, 2025
Grace Episcopal Church (map)
I am offering a new session of 6 drawing classes focusing on the elements of portraiture in graphite and charcoal. It's a foundational approach that will build your understanding of the planes of the face, major anatomical landmarks, and working with proportions to create an accurate and pleasing whole. At the end of the six weeks, you will have the knowledge and confidence to tackle that self-portrait you've always wanted to do, or that of your spouse, grandkids, or willing friend! We will meet in the parish hall at Grace Church in The Plains, starting on Wednesday, April 23, from 3:45 - 6:15 pm. The last session will conclude on Wednesday, May 28. You can sign up for the entire 6 weeks or come when available and pay for individual sessions. No previous experience is necessary and as always the atmosphere is warm and supportive. The cost is $325.00. Please feel free to email or call me and let me know if you're interested or if you have any questions. If you have a friend who might be interested in taking the class, please spread the word! A supply list will be sent upon confirmation of registration.
